I don’t remember the last time I felt this excited about something.

Right now, as you’re reading this, the first item of my clothing brand The Ro Shop is live and available for you to shop - The Ro Tote!

After over a year of working on it, I’m in love with the original artwork and happy with how everything turned out.

I’ve been making YouTube videos for over three years now, and this is the first time ever that I’ve created a product that you all can purchase to support me and my work. It’s immensely helpful. Of course, no pressure if you can’t/don’t want to - I’m just grateful you’re here.

What does “ro” mean?

“Ro” is a (homonyms) Swedish word that doesn’t have an exact English translation, but according to google translate, it means "tranquility, peace, rest, quietness".

It also means “row” as in “row your boat”, hence the rowboat as our main design.

Why “ro”?

When I think about what I want in my life (perhaps even in the world) I think of ro. Ro in my relationships; ro in each meal that I consume; ro in my own mind; ro in my home.

That doesn’t mean I want to be in a constant state of stillness, but rather, that I would like ro to be my default
state; one that I can return to after any high or any low. Therefore

By naming this brand "ro", I hope to bring myself to that state each time I wear a piece, and I hope you'll get to experience that too. 

Creating a brand that feels like an extension of myself has always been a dream of mine. This is only the beginning of that.
